My Baby Graduated Kindergarten! {Las Vegas Children's Photographer}

*Sniff, sniff* I can't believe my baby is old enough to graduate Kindergarten! It seems just like yesterday we were welcoming her into the world....and then I blinked....and here she is!

It's been quite a year she's had in Kindergarten! She excelled in reading, she got in some trouble, she had a few boyfriends(!), she made a lot of new friends, and she's become quite the master of sass. It's bittersweet...you know they have to grow up, but at the same time you want them to be the little baby a little longer.

Oh Princess, you've put us through our paces, but you are doing amazing things and we can't wait to see what the future brings!

Flashback: June 2012 {Las Vegas Childrens Photographer}

I am currently sorting thru all of the pictures on the computer and came across these ones I took of my daughter back in June 2012! I can't believe I never posted them- so here I go!

My Princess, 3 years {Las Vegas Childrens Photographer}

We have now entered the stage where getting a good picture of my daughter is near impossible. She definitely has a mind of her own, and her "cheese face" is that terrible over-dramatic smile that makes you cringe. LOL

I took a few dozen pictures and I wasn't happy with any of them. So I had to go with a few that were decent, and even of those, I am only going to post 2.

Maybe next year.....

My Princess, 2 Years {Las Vegas Children's Photographer}

You know I have to have a trick up my sleeve to take pictures of my daughter. She loves my studio, but thinks it's for "dance", not for taking pretty pictures. :-)

So this year, I set everything up after she went to bed. I wrapped a box with a couple things in it to make it rattle. When it was time to take her picture, I told her she had to smile before I gave her the present.

And it worked.

Yay me.



I'm in love with this set up. If anybody wants birthday pictures taken, call me! (I have something for boys too!)



You can see my girl totally rocks the "milk carton baby" face. :-)

Beautiful Ladies {Las Vegas Mother/Daughter Photographer}

For awhile now, my friend Jen has told me she wants me to take her picture with her daughter. Then she tells me she wants to do it with my brick backdrop.

Say what?! I LOVE my brick backdrop, don't get me wrong, but why not outside? Just why?

But okay....I'll do whatever my client wants me to do. Oh, and your mom is coming too? A generation picture?

Then I set up the brick backdrop and it's like angels are singing. I LOVE that backdrop. And then they all show up.....as beautiful as can be.

So when you have all kinds of good looking going around, there's no way you can wrong.

My Baby at Easter {Las Vegas Childrens Photographer}

Here it is, the photo you've been waiting for! The first picture of my princess on the photography blog!

She's not smiling in any of the pics- I think she was still sleepy because I started the whole shoot right after she woke up from a nap. :-) Oh well, she's still cute!

I can't wait to take MANY, MANY more. She's so photogenic and such a cheeser! It's going to be so much fun to dress her up & turn her into a supermodel (until she gets the fake cheese smile anyway!).

The Aguilar Family - Las Vegas Family & Childrens Photographer

This is my co-worker & friend's family. She had been asking me for months to take pictures of her & her girls, but it was quite a chore to get them all together at the same time! But they came to visit for Thanksgiving and we got it done.

There's also a beautiful granddaughter in the mix and I got to take their first family picture.

I had such a good time, and I hope they let me photograph them again soon!

This was from my first ever "official" session and my co-worker volunteered herself & her daughter to be my models. If I didn't know it, you would have sworn they were sisters! They were a pleasure to work with, and I can only hope for another chance in the future.
