It seems like yesterday that she told me she had gone to the ER for food poisoning- a couple weeks later finding out she was really pregnant. Now her little guy is 7 months old! Time sure flies when you have a little one!
I am currently sorting thru all of the pictures on the computer and came across these ones I took of my daughter back in June 2012! I can't believe I never posted them- so here I go!
I'm so lucky because I have 2 little supermodels at my disposal. :-)
I ordered new backdrops and I needed to "test" them out, and what do you know? It was time for my nephew's 9 month pictures! Yay me!
I can't tell you how much I LOVE my new brick backdrop and how I can't wait to try other things with my rust one.
Then I can't tell you how much I can't wait to get MORE and do it all over again.
And pouring over these pictures, I smile at every one because Michael is so easy with that smile of his and he's got a new "pirate grin" that is too funny. I love that little man!

Oh how I thought I would get a million great pictures of my little princess!
How wrong I was!!!
She's mobile now, and that means she won't sit still for my pictures. I have plenty with her hand in my face or of her little bum, but not a single one where she's looking at me smiling all precious-like in the same spot where I put her.
Out of over 100 shots I took for this, only maybe 5 were decent. Note that I didn't say good or great.
No smiles, and the only reason she stayed in the same place was because she didn't like the grass.
It turned out pretty good, but not they way my Mommy-mind imagined.
I guess it's just the beginning and I'll have to get used to it. :-)
But you know what, she still pretty stinkin' cute!
I was honored to be asked to take my brother's best friends maternity pics. They were in a hurry though, because baby A could make his appearance any day. Unfortunately for them, 2 weeks later, still no baby. :-( But even so, we got some fabulous pics!
Thanks K & N for such a great time! I can't wait to meet Mr. A and hopefully take his pics too!
Because I LOVE it so, and I think it's worthy of being seen twice...

She's not smiling in any of the pics- I think she was still sleepy because I started the whole shoot right after she woke up from a nap. :-) Oh well, she's still cute!
I can't wait to take MANY, MANY more. She's so photogenic and such a cheeser! It's going to be so much fun to dress her up & turn her into a supermodel (until she gets the fake cheese smile anyway!).
Ok, you may or may not know that I have a daughter. She's only 3 months older than Michael, yet I have no pictures of her on my blog. Why? Because Lordy is it hard to take a picture & wrangle your own child! But now that she's older, I plan on taking her picture plenty. :-) In the meantime, I get to take pictures of my nephew!
Here's my handsome guy at 3 months. While I was editing, I noticed he has the MOST gorgeous sapphire blue eyes. He's also starting to really develop his personality & smiles a lot. He's definitely the apple of his mommy's & daddy's eyes - you can totally see it in the pictures. I heart those people so much!

Twins, or what?!
Talk about a fantastic after-Christmas present!! My nephew, Michael Paul III, was born on December 27, 2010 at 5:27pm. He's a spitting image of his beautiful momma and Daddy's pride & joy.
I'm so thankful that they chose me to take his newborn pictures and I hope they'll let me take many more! :-)
Now, let's all revel is his cuteness!
